I was amused to hear Clarke Carlisle's irritated remarks about Besic playing the ball out of defence like Beckenbauer when danger was around. Im sure once he gets acclimatised to the Premier League and his timing is perfected more, Besic will look infinitely closer to Beckenbauer than the journeyman 'Countdown' Carlisle ever did. Given time, he will prove another great buy by RM

There's brilliance with the occasional murderball/bad giveaway thown in which is probably par for the course for a young player. He has a bit of a bad habit of sometimes giving the ball away and immediately grabbing an opponent but luckily the ref let much of it go. With a bit more experience he'll be a long time starter for us after Barry is retired.
