First league game was apparently Bolton in 1892. So they're no go.

The 12 founder members of the Football League are Accrington, Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Burnley, Derby County, Everton, Notts County, Preston North End, Stoke (as they were known at the time), West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

So West Brom a play off possibility also. Frighteningly, I get the idea it might well be Arsenal.

Going off the Everton results website, our first ever league game was against Forest (the game against Bolton was an exhibition game), so if they stay up, maybe them? Or Villa as it's our most played fixture.

I go with this. Since Wimbledon I first check the fixtures for the last game hoping it's a home game against one of the lesser Prem teams.

Anyone saying the fixtures can't be manipulated is wrong. Just a coincidence that the three most likely teams to pick up the PL trophy were all given home games as a final game.
In any case they've openly admitted they do this.
Just give us a home fixture for our final game next term.
