They're paying a streamer the big bucks because they're evil and it's a legal way for them to market gambling to children.
We also obviously got less than we should have from them, no surprise when you think about who was negotiating that deal for us.
Embarrassing all round.
Agree with this and that lessons need to be learned from our previous takeover.
Think in my hypothetical PSR goes out the window, should have specified that in original post.
Say we pulled off some financial wizardry (cheating) in the vein of Chelsea or City and could spend a couple hundred...
I'm inclined to agree. No fan of Dyche either but think the best thing for us this season will be stability, bringing us up to the opening of BMD which feels like a natural time for more radical changes to be made to kick off a new era.
So I think everyone is pretty much in the same boat on Dyche now more or less. Some are certainly more enthusiastic than others about him staying but most agree he will/should be here next season.
I'm curious though. Say the fabled 'other interested party' finally show themselves and buy the...
Don't think Thellwell's been bad, just thought i had read on here that his contract is up end of the season and he's looking for other jobs.
My point is more that whoever our DOF is in the summer, they need to be 100% in charge of incoming transfers.
This is a definite possibility. Ultimately what will be the best move this summer is totally dependent on how our ownership situation is resolved which, who knows what will happen there atm.
As I said in my original post if next season is set to be another year of just trying trying scrape by...
Don't get me wrong, I'm not thinking we will be blowing through 200m+ to assemble a new squad of really expensive players. Just in terms of numbers though, we will need to bring in at least 5-6 to replace those outgoings even if we're doing it on the cheap.
I can't see the logic in letting the...
The only scenario I would really want him to stay would be if we have no money to spend at all and he was having to grind out results as he has this season. As much as I personally don't like Dyche I have to acknowledge he's done a mostly good job this season in the circumstances.
Considering...
Tbh I think rather than Dyche not wanting to sign these types of players, the more likely scenario is that quality attacking players won't want to come here and play for Dyche or will be warned off it by their agents.
Fairly or unfairly it's clear to me that he has a certain reputation in the game.
100% agree of course. I've been wanting Beto to start ahead of him for a while, think it's done him more harm than good that Dyche has persisted playing him hoping a goal would restore his confidence.
Fingers crossed that's what happens now though, would be huge if he could recapture some form...
