Arteta and yakubu

I think this'll be Arteta's final season at Everton, but i reckon that both will be back in first team action at the end of Sept/ early Oct.

I'm usually a bit optimistic myself...but I think it will be too.

I think unless he's thinks we're going places, getting some top world class quality in (which he has said in the papers) to compete, I think a resonable £20mill bid from a bigish champions league club in Spain/Germany/Italy he'll want to go - be closer to his kid, play at a high level, get looked at more for the Spanish squad etc.

I think it depends on how we do this season - if Mikel sees progression he'll stay. If we finish 5th again then I'd say he's off.

Dont mate, hes my player alright, the Yak recalls you slating him as well.

Your best over in the corner with your Fellaini wig.

Now get off my Birkenhead.

I've also got that feeling about Arteta. He is the most likely option to be sold to fund next year's transfers - its the new Everton way, we only buy after we've sold these days.

>runs away as fast as possible

I think if Arteta can force his way into the spain squad, and we do well, he'll stay.

If not, off to spain (Atletico Madrid)

Him and Alonso can be rivals again
