John Stones

He went into the new season with 4 CB's, One a young kid who is learning his trade, One a 37 year old who is well past his best, Another who gets muscle fatigue after one game and Jags

Then we have the RB situation, He thinks its not a priority to bring in a RB and leaves us with possibly the worst RB in the premier league as cover for Coleman

Yes he's been unlucky but its football and it happens, Anyone with half a brain could see that we looked light at the back BEFORE we sold Duffy

One defender signed in 3 transfer windows, This is all his own doing

I think you'll find that most Prem clubs went into the season with four CBs, plus a few others who could fill in at CB. The only exception would be those with massive squads like Chelsea and City. Hibbert is very far from 'the worst RB in the Prem' and he has shown that in the last three games...he also did a useful turn at CB a couple of years ago. We have not , like Man utd, had to resort to playing Valencia,a winger, at RB at times or startinng a game with one designated centre back.

He cant change it all immediately. It´s 3 transfer windows yes, but he is only here for just over a year of what will 4 or more years with us. he is changing things from a different management style.

Most people would have said the defence is pretty much okay, lets focus on our attacking play and our centre mid. He did that, pretty successfully. The decline/poor form of our first choice CB pairing and injuries to others have just come too soon and is bad luck.

I fully trust him to continue working towards improving the squad.

There will be bad times. Like now. Stop having a meltdown every week @Del , you post relative sense most of the time and then throw yourself off a cliff in panic attacks all of a sudden.

I love John Stones almost as much as Naismith and Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman and Bryan Oviedo.

He'll be back and winning games for Everton soon enough.

The bossest Centre Back in the world will be back.
