still can't believe he left for only 2...that's ridiculous - now a buyback at a higher price? he won't play at a bigger club and i dunno why he'd wanna play at a struggling club. he's done wonders here, it feels like the obvious choice

What we got for Peanut last year wasn't too bad considering the circumstances. We waited too long until he was a few months from the end of his contract and could have gone on a bosman for free. Moyes probably should have sold him during the previous summer but there's no use crying over that now.

sorry, i forgot about that little bit right there.

And here's Pienaar on Everton's left hand side, drifting inside now looking for someone to make a move on the overlap, still Pienaar, back to goal, AND HE'S ROLLED THE BALL INTO SPACE WITH A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE BACKHEEL, ONTO BAINES, IT'S BAINES INTO THE PENALTY AREA

Tune in next post to find out what happens in the continuing adventures of Pienaar and Baines.

Something's gotta give this summer. The Pienaar transfer will probably run all summer if Spuds are going to accept a lower offer from us. We just Pienaar to stand his ground and hold out for us. Iv got everything crossed

Oscar Cardozo

Anyone?? 100 goals in 5 seasons aint too bad right?

TalkSport said:
Chelsea and Everton target Oscar Cardozo has been told he can leave Benfica, according to reports in Portugal.

The striker has scored more than 100 goals for Benfica since joining the club five years ago, but the Paraguayan has allegedly been told he is free to leave as they look to cut their wage bill.

With Chelsea and Everton both credited with an interest in Cardozo, competition is likely to be fierce, although a price tag of £12m may be too much for David Moyes' side.

And there is also interest from Russia, with CSKA Moscow and Rubin Kazan also readying bids for the 28-year-old.
