He may be a slow burner Sean but he’s now our slow burner. Get him playing somewhere to accelerate the process even if it’s the u21s, but preferably 20 mins off the bench for the first team.
Be interesting to see if he's in this week's training video. If not, what a massive waste of money this could be. £12m is a lot of cash when we're so skint and we are desperate for bodies now.

i assume we got him because Sporting were willing to let us pay £2.00 a month rather than us wanting him. Our transfers are not dictated by who will improve us but by which teams will accept our payment structures - which means we get players that no one wants like Maupay, or players that probably aren't ready like this kid.

If he’s not first team ready, then what a daft signing this is. We’re not in the position to pay £15m for a player who will take a year or two to be ready for PL.
Here's to hoping this lad has those Ronaldo pressure stats because with the way things are going he's going to have to be brilliant.
