Not the point. Very few managers play the younger players cos they are basically thick, Today our younger players were imense

Arsenal starting playing a huge crop of youngsters when Arteta came in, it took a while to get going but they now have a great young squad and are clearing out the old jobbers from the dressing room

I think we have to look at them as a blueprint - it won't lead to instant success but it can work

The senior players have bad performances week in week out and are the epitomy of inconsistent. Out of tonight's game I'd probably only consider Gordon, Branthwaite and Kenny but the others should be integrated into the match squad for the rest of the season.
