I fear the drop, as I couldn`t see us getting back up. He didn`t learn from Wigan and we play exactly like them. Teams just park the bus, tire us out and exploit mistakes, we have become easy pickings

True about easy pickings, its a point in the bag coming to Goodison, to be honest i don't know WBA didn't just got the win, thank god they didn't as it was there for the taking if they wanted it.

He will learn from this and build a team here as he did with Swansea.

I believe he'll win us trophies.
He didn't learn from his experience at Wigan so where is the evidence that he will learn from this ?

If anything all the evidence points to the contrary.

We sit watching other teams in the cup while our failures are on a beach sunning themselves in some Middle Eastern backwater.

Palace win yet again under Pardew today - we're in for a rude awakening as we will have to acclimatise to the sub zero temperatures of selhurst park a week today.

The RS the week after will be rubbing their hands at the thought of compounding our misery.

We're going down and Martinez couldn't give a damn. The warm weather training fiasco should tell you all you need to know about how realistically he considers proper preparation for our most important run of games in the last 15 years.

We could go down but i don't believe we will.
I expect a high octane performance next saturday.

A top manager would never have made the mistakes RM has made this season.

Still I'd wait until the end of the season to decide his future. If he turns things around and we do well in the europa and top half of the prem, then keep him.

If not, sack him. My worry isn't relegation ... but we become a permanent lower mid table club.

There shouldn't be anything to think about.

He took over a side that was top 6/7 consistently. He bettered that in his first season and we all thought we'd go from strength to strength. But his poor preparations and tactical stubbornness have seen us bomb this season after the template for how to beat us was laid down early doors.

Unless we finish the season very strongly and are back winning games looking like a top 6 side again, then he's failed simple as that. If we're anywhere near the bottom 3 come the end of the season then he should get his cards

Post match interviews and press conference Martinez has begun to reck my head with the "lies" it has got to be him and his tactics why we are so slow in possession and there is no movement or anyone running forward playing the one two to move forward etc ... It's simple. Last season we were penetrating and obviously done very well in most games.
It's like the players have there position and cannot move from it so have to just pass it sideways n back again until they are forced to cross from deep

It's been the same old for months and RM just comes out with same crap excuses ... ARGH

Agreed with all that except he didn't exceed our existing standards by finishing 1 place higher than we did the previous season.vWe also finished 5th or higher on three occasions under moyes. I addition the football last season was in my opinion no better than in moyes last with us. So a holding operation is what he managed - but this season it remiscent of walker, Royle 3rd season, kendall mk3, Smith or any other nightmare season you care to remember

My uncle is a good friend of Bill.
He never lets on anything to me because he is not a football man but i do know Bill really likes Roberto
and will not be firing him.
I understand i will not be believed and i will get laid into for this post but i speak the truth.

This is the simple truth of the matter.

We all know at the end of the season we'll get the Kenwright SSN interview where BK glories in being the head of a boardroom that doesn't kneejerk. It's the one and only thing that idiot has going for him. and he'll be reluctant to abandon the proud boast.

Roberto is safe as houses.
