Surely we have now reached the stage where we can offer contracts to player's children as soon as they are born and get them into the youth system.
Obviously some player's babies will not make the grade or will be born with niggling injuries that keep them in the post-natal treatment room but we should be able to evaluate and inform them that they are not good enough and are failures before they reach double figures.
