Let that sink in everyone, were paying £22-£30mil for a player worse than Andros Townsend.

imo bolasie is miles above townsend. I can't make my mind up, i don't think he's poor, he's just massively inconsistent. If he was about 23 i'd be all for it (same way i was about deulofeu because of his youthful age) thinking he's got a few years to stamp out the inconsistency; the fact he's 27 has me more concerned, but there are such things as late bloomers. But he'll get bums off seats, he'll scare defenders and he'll create a lot of space for others. Defenders don't like playing against that type of player.

Palace were looking to play them together, we weren't even interested in him until last week.

To be honest I would go for Bolasie.
