WTF has just happened

This is worse than at Creamfields when I came back to the tent at 4 in the morning wired off me tits curled in a ball in my wet muddy clothes worried that I was going to **** myself because I couldn't feel my legs.

I'm more arsed about losing Beckford than anything, because we've now got 2 unproven strikers, 1 who is forever on the treatment table, and Anichebe.

Arteta was fairly anonomous against Blackburn, he's been a passenger for a while. how many times have we begged he would return to form?, £75,000 a week is 3.25 Million pounds a year, four year contract left with us, that would take him to 33 and cost us a whopping £15.6 Million pounds.

As it is, we've got 10 million in for him, add that to the saving of 15.6 Million pounds = 25.6 Million pounds.

Is Arteta worth that much to Everton over 4 years?, has he justified that lately?, not against Blackburn, and not for years in my opinion.

Good business, would have liked him to stay but can understand why the deal made sense when you see Barkley threading through balls like he's doing.

Losing Jagielka, Fellani, Rodwell would have been more damaging.

What i am concerned about, and not too pleased with Moyes and the board about is the striking options....That's the real problem we have got to face up to.

Great to hear positivity backed up with numbers but no matter how much money we save on him, we'll still have to replace him and we won't have any more money to do that than we did in buying him in the first place.

Relax guys, if Tim Cahill stays fit then he will score 15-20 goals this season. That's why Moyes is insistent on building a team around him.

We sold Jordan Henderson to Liverpool for 20 million, so I reckon you have been harshly robbed with Arteta mate.
He is twice the player that Henderson was for us, just wish we had a set piece expert like him.

3 points

henderson is young and English - Arteta is 29 and Spanish

and as for him being a set piece expert - HA HA HA HA HA!

Why do people keep blaming the Blue Union for stuff? I think I'm missing something...

They went public with a discussion they had with Bill Kenwright which told the rest of the world that we had no money. the end result being that every club in the Prem decided they could try and nick our players on the cheap cos we were desperate for the cash.

I honestly think that was public knowledge mate, the fact we hadnt bought anyone for over 12 months proved that. It didnt take a genious to work it out.

Do you believe that if the Blue Union hadnt published that we would have got more for Arteta? And if it was the case that clubs are pinching our players on the cheap why is Jags, Baines and Felli, who is out of contract soon, still here?

No.. it wasn't public knowledge until it went public, it was only hearsay.

Were do I start? I am not that bothered over Arteta leaving it is the way Moyes had no time to find a replacement. The timing of it all is very convenient for Mr ' I havent got a pot to p1ss in' Kenwright. We sell 3players for approx 14.5m , save about 150 grand a week on wages and how does the club repay their amazing fans by getting in two loaners. Now these lads maybe ok but that isnt the point. We all know the banks are baying for blood and want their cash back but with such enormous savings yesterday would it have been so hard to give us blues a creak of light in an otherwise dark and desolate tunnel. Why was Artetas transfer at the last minute and with it being so late who was happiest with that outcome.MrK thats who he is over the fcuking moon and he didnt even give Moyes one solitary day to bring in someone to bring hope to otherwise downhearted blues.I am sickened by the club at the moment and I hope Moyes doesnt jump ship because then we will sink like the preverbial TItanic. Is Everton compare to a wife who constantly cheats on you thats what it feels like at the moment.

Pretty much spot on that mate
