Didnt know Dave personally but i do know who he was as i knew a few of the WSAG lads.

….I had the great pleasure of working with Dave for a number of years and I’m genuinely saddened by the news.

We’d play five a side after work in The Rock on Whitefield Rd & he was a very good footballer. Absolute gentleman, a Christian in the truest sense of the word & he loved Everton. I’m sure he’s younger than me so can only be in his early 60s. The world has lost a totally decent man who lived his life with genuine values.
