Would you swap Vic for Doyle?????

No, Anichebe scored more than Doyle in about a third of the appearances, Vic is younger and a much better impact sub to have warming the bench.
Last season Doyle was a mediocre player in a poor Wolves squad, like Adam was at Blackpool.

would I let Vic go yes, would I want Doyle no. Vic is going to want to play regular as he is in the same mould as vaughan etc not a bad player but never going to by EFC regular

I was sitting next to a bloke who was convinced Anichebe had scored a hat trick until we talked him out of it. Despite the fact they announced the scorers by name he was positive that it was him who had scored the fifth goal and even more bizarely the first.

Anichebe had a good game. I can tell the difference between Anichebe and Gueye.

He did, yeah.

I wasn't implying that was you. I agree with you, he had a good game. I just thought it was a reasonably amusing anecdote.

I was sat next to someone who thought Vellios had started in place of Mirallas. Unfortunately it was my brother

don't mind Vic, but his attitude just pisses me right off. I mean he never looks arsed when he scores for Everton, take last night as an example. compare that to mirallas celebration. I don't really understand him or his ambitions and probably never will........

Vic is a way better player than some give him credit for.
Played very well last night and is scoring regularly when given the opportunity.
At least 2 levels above doyle so no no no no no.

Too many people get downers on players to the extent that they can never recover from a bad spell. Vic is scoring and deserves some credit. His situation at Everton now seems to be rather similar to the way Gobson was treated at at United and he hasn't turned out bad. I would rather try and keep hold of a homegrown player than replace him with an older dubious model.
