Same fella who i read today ( early about 10am ) about Mikky signing, said Yak will be a Hammer by end of the week.

Simply not going to happen.

This is a big season for the Yak though : he needs to prove - to himself as well as to Moyes - that he's still got what it takes. He was below his best at the ACON and at the World Cup, and never really got going for Everton last season either. Now he's got extra competition for a place in Beckford.

Its how responds really mate to that compition, if he doesnt rise to the challenge then and especially with his contract he will move.

Beckford will score goals FOR FUN!!!

But no, we shouldnt sell Yakubu, if he puts some work in and gets back to his best hes a major, major goalscorer.

That my friend, is a big if.

We all know what he is capable of but ever since the injury he has shown little to no signs of improvement.

He could come back to his old good self and all would be good. However Everton run the risk of his value that other clubs are willing to pay from him dropping, as time goes on and he is not scoring.

I don't see why the **** we would want to depend on just Saha, Beckford, and Vaughn. Out of the three Only Saha has proved to be a reliable goal scorer. Beckford looks very promising but hestill has yet to prove himself as dependable in crucial matches. Say what you like about the Yak, his age, and his work rate, but he really can score when it counts.

I'd rather stick Bily and Cahill up front then the Yak at the moment.

if anyone can say hand on heart that Yak hasnt lost his edge then their living in the clouds imo
i say cash in now while he's still worth a few spons and id much rather see the youngsters get a run (not a game or 2...a real chance to prove their talent/worth)
ive a orrible feeling the young talent we have is gonna spend most of the season on the bench while moysey sticks with the old
