I hate to say it but this will have legs if he continues his dominate play and we finish top four this year. No chance, he is only 24 and is probably the best midfielder in the league. Id want around £35m-£40m for him. Look at some k the stupid fees being payed out for average players.

This window? No. January? No. Summer? No ... but it will probably happen. The only situation worth discussing is if we make the CL ... do we turn down 30m+ to keep him (assuming he wanted to stay)? 30M wouldn't tempt me in the slightest. 30M wouldn't make any sense imo as it would probably cost you more than that to replace him. That kind of money would not buy you the dominance he has and can give you in a game. For me its too low of a price for him but i will admit i have braced myself already for the eventual bid from Real Madrid et al
