Worst Player of the Season

Thought this would be an interesting thread considering the player of the year this season will be a bit of a farce minus 1 or 2 players. Plus we've witnessed an incredible amount of tosh football this season.

i pick distin. Clearly not up for the top flight anymore and the fact he fell out with the manager has made him unavailable for selection pretty much .

Speaks volumes, whether its his fault or robertos.

Distin but Martinez did something about that. Howard has been good for us but then so was Stubbsy and Dave Weir and other stalwarts of recent times, best to get rid when stagnation sets in. But he's phenomenal according to the gaffer and got a called from Obama so obviously he stays in sticks !

The biggest drop off from last season has definitely been Barry. He's gone from the first name on the team-sheet to the new Phil Neville.

For being consistently rubbish and constantly letting the side down, it has to be Howard.

Pound for Pound, he's cost us more points than anyone else this season, this after seemingly coming back in the form of his life, after the World Cup. What has annoyed me more about Howard, is that when he was out injured we appeared to briefly move back into form, when a rejuvenated Joel came in, then he was inexplicably dropped by Martinez. But yeah, he's probably cost us about 10-12 points this season Howard, so he's deffo the worst.

Unfortunately for Barry, he'll have to try harder next year

Not cos I think he was worse than distin or alcaraz but simply cos he played so much more games. Like 38 3 out of 10 for me is worse than 10 1 out of 10s.
