Satisfied. I would have taken a draw before kick-off for this one.

More positives than negatives. Does this mean we'll be the early leaders for the "Unluckiest team" table? :-)

Think wolves be a tough place to get anything this season does help when the ref totally on your side better performance by Everton onwards and upwards coyb

That was crap? They never looked likely until Jags stuffed up.

We were deadlier in the second half and scored because of it, we only really held back after being up 2-1.

Of course we'd look vulnerable in defence down a man, have some faith.
Agree we looked in control til the sending off, but their second goal would have happened regardless due to the defending.

Could have created a bit more, thought Coleman/Walcott were really poor considering.

Should have won that. Disappointing

2-2, not a bad result with 10 against 12 for so long.

Good signs from Silva's Everton.

High energy levels, creating chances, looked very comfortable until the red. Every player looking like they've well and truly signed up to it. (First time since Martinez first season I think.)

Mid-game it dawned on me that for the first time in ages I was feeling more relaxed watching us. I can see the system -- it's a good system that works in both attack and defence -- and the players are just vehicles for it. Rather than hoping something will happen you know when, where and how it will happen.

And then there's Richarlison -- just class!

Decent game. Was hard to believe you were watching an Everton Wolves game at times, as both teams played a more patient, and arguably much more boring, continental style.

Silva did well to regroup after going a man down. I was quite impressed by how the Wolves coach gradually adjusted things until they could get that crucial equalizer.

I was surprised at how ponderous Wolves were going forward. They really failed to take advantage of their one man advantage. They seem to have been overhyped and will probably finish mid table going by that display.

Well 1 point on the board, only 39 more required for premier league safety and 37 more games to play.

I was really worried when we went down to 10 men early on, but we rallied well and until Tosun and Richarlison went off we caused them problems in the box, which after last season was good to see. I think overall the ref was a bit of a “homer” the sending off probably was one by the letter of the law, but harsh, if refs applied the letter of the law all game we would have a 5 a side game by the end of 90 minutes. With Jags now banned I guess it gives Mina an opportunity

That was much more encouraging than pre-season. It's hard on us that we didn't take all three points which we really would have deserved because we even controlled the game being a man down. But considering the circumstances the draw is an acceptable result and the performance was promising.
