I'm going to call it soccer because we're now in American football season and I don't want to confuse myself lol.

I'm not good at watching soccer yet, but I really liked what I saw yesterday. There was a pendulum of momentum. I figure to expect that because a team can't be going too strong for too long or they'll drop from exhaustion. There didn't seem to be a lot in the way of panic, which I liked. I think it was a good match, kept me paying attention the whole time, and as a good first Everton match for me to watch.

Was it as fun as it seemed to me, or is there anything I missed about which I should be disappointed?

Don`t get too relaxed watching us when we`re 2 goals up and well in control of a game, we have a habit of losing 2 goal leads.

Mykolenko has to be more strong, he gave up and let their second goal happen. In turn that meant the final 7 minutes or whatever it was was high anxiety stuff. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy. Three points, some good one touch football, and progression of fitness and system settling. Having a friendlier manager conduct pre and post match interviews has lightened the mood no end, even when they provoked him by raising the leeds penalty he left it.

Thanks for the heads up! lol I've gotten very used to that after 35 years of being a Detroit Lions fan. They're fun to watch now, but I'm sure they'll be back to SOL (Same Old Lions) form within a couple years. Doesn't stop me from cheering them on.

Ah good to know. Thank you! I just had to look up who Mykolenko is lol. I figured defender and guessed right. I'll learn their names eventually. I have no intention of watching less.
