The music/ entertainment industry has turned a blind eye to many horrible actions and behaviours by headliners and high profile figures in the past and will continue to do so.
He’s a toxic numptey but he’s more out in the open than others out there.

I think an issue he had is that people were scared etc to tell him to stop, clearly just has a lot of yes men around him

Thats pretty common in the US for the unfathomably rich. They can afford sycophants to validate their madness. I always think of that Foxcatcher guy that Steve Carrell played. They were afraid he'd cut funding to the wrestling program, so they let him win ridiculous fake wrestling matches with them and watched on as he was hearing voices coming from the walls. Not one "friend" thought to get him the help he clearly needed until it was too late
