Will we qualify for Europe this season?

Our problem before was scoring goals. Now our left back scores almost every game. Even Gueye who's not allowed to shoot scored the winner we're unstoppable

Look, while I'm enjoying the recent run of better results, an uptick in performances, players altitude and confidence...lets not sugar coat this. We have lost to Fulham, Wolves, Luton, and drawn with Sheff United and Brighton - all VERY winnable games. 13 points down the drain.

I think we will finish mid-table (baring any ridiculous points deduction) and be very happy with that for the time being.

We'd be second if we hadn't squandered those 13 points. Europe is a pipe dream.

That's exactly my point - we effectively gave the rest of the league a 12 point start and have reeled half of that in already.

And given the amount of negativity in here the past couple of seasons, isn't it now time to start looking up and dreaming rather than looking down and dreading?

I think Europe is out of reach this season, unless we somehow win a cup! We’re 6/1 for a top half finish, which I think is a reasonable outsider bet. Looking at the top half now, the only team I think we could finish above is West Ham. So I reckon we’ll be 10th at best, more likely 11th to 15th?!

Paddy power are 9/1 for a top half finish.....without any point deduction, that suddenly starts to look interesting !.

If people are talking about relegation it’s probably because we’ve nearly been relegated the last 2 seasons..

Talk about top 7 when we look like something resembling a top 7 side. (ie not now)

I don't think we have been nearly relegated for 2 seasons, perhaps a couple of weeks it looked like a possibility.

There are plenty other threads on here where people can wallow in their negativity, surely we're allowed one where we can take a postive approach?

While it would be nice, I think qualifying through the Carabao cup is the easiest way for us to do it. I'm not quite sure we have the depth of squad for another 26 league matches to keep up this good run of form. Players will get injured and suspended and when they do, points get dropped.

But wouldn't it be great to have European matches at the new Stadium. COYB
