Will next season be a write off?

God I hope so. We so badly need to spend a year laying the groundwork and not worrying about whether we're 8th or 12th.
 
Last season was our chance and we blew it.

United, Chelsea still very much in transition. They only got it together towards the end of the season.

Liverpool had injuries to key players and Spurs imploded with Mourinho.

No chance those teams will have as bad a season next season.

Depends on the manager and the recruitment.

Currently im expecting us to get relegated.

But that will change as we appoint a manager and buy players.
 
We are always a write off now...... false dawns / empty promises. I am less interested in the club than I have ever been ( 50+ years ) I really don't even care who we hire as the manager....odds are they are here for 24 months tops. Rinse and repeat.
 

I fully put my hands up and admit I am often quite apocalyptic in my thinking, just the way my brain works I am afraid, I am indeed one of those ‘bed wetters’. I do think we could be in huge trouble going into next season. No manager as of now, a squad full of absolute tosh with no signs of replacing/improving the squad up to now. I think players such as Digne and Richarlison will be wanting away too, and we cannot attract players, no Carlo factor and no Europe. I think as of now we are one of the favourites for the drop, barring a complete blinder from the board. I am very much hoping to be convinced otherwise though, off to wash my duvet.
