I knew it you cant keep away from lurking in those shrubberies at Hale ShoreView attachment 347552
Not the best photo, but this is a Raven from my run this morning along Hale Shore.
I heard them before I could see them and there was a pair in a tree.
It’s hard to get close to them, as they’re so twitchy.
joking its a nice part of Liverpool ....A fine looking gentleman, my son and his partner have a female bengal about 2 years old she's stunning and quite a character.
Took a quick peek inside the shed box on Tuesday evening.Update on this.
Been watching them in and out of the box with bits of moss etc this morning, so pretty sure that they are actually building a nest in there. Obviously don't want to disturb them too much but I will take a look inside in the next few days and hopefully be able to take a picture once a week or so of any progress.![]()

Plenty nesting materials been taken in there but no obvious construction.
I'm now wondering if I may have given them just too much floor space? (It's about 3 times bigger than a regular blue tit nesting box)
Will leave it another week before checking again.
From past experience they will cover the base then make the nest in one of the corners, great pics mate.Took a quick peek inside the shed box on Tuesday evening.
