Would anyone here know if Everton used to sing a song to the Wild Rover? I don't mean the chorus as in "And its Everton, Everton FC' but the verse 'There was an alehouse I used to frequent'


Blackburn sung it the other week and it sounded good. Man U once sung it 'We fought all our battles in Manchester's name'. Chelsea done done it years ago too. We went to United in 78 the Chelsea were too many too many to ruck and the great Man United got battered to f.uck' or similar to that anyway.

It's a decent tune for a song, anyone know if we done it then?

think it was done in the sixties, a lad on bluekipper was collecting all the old songs sure that was among them.
