They did their homework on fellaini and new we would be pumping the ball up to him for him to take on his chest. all teams will be on to this now. they had two on him and took the ball of him quite easily. i kept saying we need to change tactics but it didnt look like we new how to in the first half.there was still some noce football. credit to moyes he changed the shape of the team in the second half and i think we should have won the game. we are a team that is getting better and playing exciting football more and more during games. we are not going to win every game and we are going to drop points at grounds we think we shouldn't. we are a work in progress and getting quite good at the high tempo passing game and will get better and better as long as we stick to it. one step at a time.

We are fighting back in to games and that's a massive plus as it shows a bit of belief in self...that'll do for me at this point in the season.

Agreed with the both of you. I'm still buzzing over Everton after yesterday's result as were playing some boss football and look like we'll keep it going. If we do then we'll finish higher than we have for a while. Gibson's been missed and we've still got some good results in his absence, he's back for next game which will make a big difference. Coleman and Mirallas might finally get something good going on the right and Jelavic is yet to hit his proper form.

QPR away and the sh*te at home are winnable. Even if it's four points off them two games then we will have started the season really well. Loads to look forward to, and when was the last time you could say that about Everton in October?

Agree 100%

On paper we think we should be battering these teams. But the reality is they will make it difficult and fight for everything. Getting beet with 5 mins to go and getting a point away from home is a solid result.

If we win our home games and pick as many away points as possible we will finish strongly.

This, this time last season we lose that game showing no fight. We didn't play superb and still deserved 3 points. Any point away from home is a good one.

We haev lost just 5 premier league games in 2012, Arsenal at home, liverpool away, spurs away, bolton at home and WBA away.

1. Ref had a bad game.
2. Heit was out muscled.
3. They pressed hard and gave no space.
4. They made it a priority to niggle.
5. It was an entertaining game.

And neville marshalled the back four like a sunday league player.
Neville should be nowhere near the midfield, that is the main reason the defence looks so shaky.

wigan played really well first half, Everton played really well second half. i didn't complain to much when the final whistle went and it was 2-2.

bit of credit where due, Moyes got it right and rang the changes early.

Heitinga was getting murdered and has shown an alarming lack of pace in the last 2 games, he's lost the proverbial yard, but for me the Jags / Heitinga partnership has never worked. I didn't think Jags has looked particularly quick of late either. Half time Heitinga off - good move.

Felliani - yard-dog defenders like Caudwell niggle and goad Felliani, do everything they can to put him off his game, which includes bouncing off him, sly digs and general irritation. Olson did the same for WBA. At least this time Moyes got it right by dragging Felliani out of there, sitting him as a DCM where IMO he was still effective and gave us a DCM which until that point had been virtually invisible.

We all know that the Neville and Osman combo in CM is simply not good enough but we have tried to play around them. This didn't happen today. Last week we got away with it because we were bombing down both wings. Neville's one saving grace was that he would (legally) crunch one or two in a game, he's too slow to get to them now.

I thought Coleman was poor today. He should have skinned a ****house like Beausejour all day long but instead struggled and I can't understand why.

Finally - I thought the ref had a shocker and it's getting tiring how many poor refereeing decisions are costing us. We must have one of the highest fouls against / fouls committed ratios in the league.
Saw a lot of Kone over here last season and he'll skin a few more CD's this season I thought Heitinga did well to get a foot in and would look more at why the runner wasn't picket up

What's the cliche,
A point on the road and win at home. That's how champions are made? (et al)

The point we earned probably drives home an ideal better than any Moyes speech. The players worked for each other and were rewarded for that effort. Yea, it is only a point, but later in the season this kind of heart shown turns into 3 points and trophies.
