Once I saw how Fellaini was getting frustrated I thought this was going to be another West Brom type of game so at the end of the day, happy with a point. Defence needs sorting coz better teams than Wigan will take our trousers down.
Our attacking players weren't at their best today. Baines, Pienaar, Mirallas and Fellaini all hit and miss for me.

Honestly, I'd rather draw like that than draw like we used to against Wigan.

We played some top football at times. It's a shame that there are so many gaping holes in our team, chiefly CM, but Mirallas/Pienaar/Baines/Fellaini/Jelavic all link up with each other sexually.

Thought the refereeing team let us down again, but fair play to Moyes for his half time sub. Distin should have started but it was ballsy to sub Heitinga off. On that note I wish people would stop saying Distin is past it or close to it. He made such a difference after coming on and made Wigan's strike force look like Wigan's strike force, rather than Madrid's like Heitinga managed.

We've only kept two clean sheets in 7 league games and that was because we were on our game against United and Swansea couldn't finish. We can't keep giving away soft goals and expect that we'll be able to outscore teams. Hopefully the international break will give us chance to get Gibson back to bolster the midfield. The problem though is that Neville is likely to switch to right back to make way for him. Pip is looking like his legs and his concentration have gone and he's consistently been our worst player this season. He's not justifying his place.

Heitinga has had a run of games and now needs to accept that Distin is ahead of him on form. With Mirallas drifting inside Osman should be coming across to help out Coleman. It's an obvious weakness to exploit otherwise.

and he actually took neville off for anichebe, when i was sure it was gonna be mirallas..its almost as if he is learning stuff!

Huh, something I didn't expect, Garth Crooks being nice about us:

Garth Crooks, BBC Final Score
"Mirallas was excellent again today for Everton. Jelavic was very good. Pienaar and Baines linked up brillaintly. They look worthy of finishing fourth or fifth this season."

Thought Mirallas was pretty average today. Missed a couple of very good chances that could of seen us go on and win the game and also left Coleman exposed to Wigan's counter attacks. Calling him excellent is ridiculous.

I dont want to say the Ref cost us the game but he was way too influential in the game for my liking, too many bad calls. 1st goal was offside and the second poor defending by Heitinga, other than that I think we played very well considering the circumstances. Them playing with a 3-4-3 also made it hard for us to get in a rithm.

All in all I think we still look dangerous, our attack is way better than our defending which is strange considering its been the other way round for a long time.

Mirallas and Coleman didnt look as good as they where last week but there is still pontential in there. Mirallas needs to stay on right to keep the balance as sometimes the center looks way too congested but, it'll come he is a class player and to be fair he's done more defensive work than I imagine in his first few games.

Poor first half shocking decision for their first goal. Their front 3 caused us endless problems. Moyes partially sorted it out at half time Distin coming on, but Neville should have gone off as well. Second half we played some decent stuff, but not as well as in previous weeks. Refs performance was shocking. God if Rodgers is moaning about the decisions the RS are getting at present, it is just as well he doesn't manage us, as he really would have something to moan about then. Gibson can't get back into that midfield quick enough, we cant control games without his influence (especially away from home). However as starts go 14 points from 7 games is a good return.

Only managed to watch the first half. Heitinga had an absolute shocker, was entirely his fault for the second goal. Thought Wigan had a lot more of the ball and could've scored a few more times.

Seriously what is happening to our defence?

How were we in the second half?

I got no clue what is the problem but its not like us to be so good attacking and so bad defending. We did look a bit better when Distin came in at half time.

Really really hope Gibson is the answer to our problems.
