No can't agree. He was all at sea defensively and didn't make good decisions on the ball either. Poor crosses again.

Theere is no way Hibbert would have let that cross come in for the first goal.

By far our worst player today.

Yeah he would, he'd have stood there with his arms behind his back about 6 yards away from the player.

Oh no hnag on i forgot Hibbert has never slipped, they don't call him Teflon Tony for nothing!

Thought Mirallas was one of our best players today along with Baines, he really tried to get us ahead a few times, and it was because of him we won the penalty.
Jagielka saved our bacon yet again with a fantastic tackle, questions need to be asked in regards to who plays CB, shoddy defending at times, Coleman was the worst of them all. I found none of them going into the Wigan players.
But good play from Baines, he really is brilliant, and I'm glad Fellaini picked himself up after a shockingly bad 1st half.

That shows that top 4 will be hard to get . We can't afford to play sloppy in the first half . Think we need to buy some new centre backs or give Duffy a chance because Heitinga had a bad game and we can't afford to wait unit he starts performing like last season. Fellaini had a bad game which shows that we need to get Vadis or another cm in . Kev needs to learn to pass abit more . Overall fair result has each half was bossed by both teams although we should off had 3 penalties . Heads up for next game
Wow. Just Wow.

Mirallas has been showing glimpses of his class though, we just need to discipline him into a place where he can get more involved.

He is a left mid, mind!

Yeah he is, but if he's being asked to do a job that was yielding results...

He can do a job in different positions, but he's leaving too much for Coleman to cope with and needs to concentrate on that. Someone like Neville/Jagielka should be stepping up and telling him on the pitch.

Reasons why that feels like a defeat:

- Absolutely shambolic call by linesman for their first goal. Half a yard offside, linesman (I assume?) was standing in line with it.
- Pathetic referee handing out cards for literally nothing (Baines, Jelavic).
- Al Habsi being in inspired form all game.
- Second balls in and around the box not bouncing to us, from keeper's saves, from Baines' shot against post.
- Blatant foul on Jelavic for penalty, not given.

Probably more.

I feel sick after that.

Meh. Honestly didn't think Coleman was too bad today. He did what he could in a game that was practically end-to-end throughout, will have got a nice workout out of that if anything else. His touch in the second half let him down a bit though.

Is it worth giving Duffy a game - the centre backs today looked so shaky at times struggle to win the ball in the air lack of height in there - what a bottler of a ref - that is two games now were an assitant has cost us vital points

Seamus was all over the shop today. Nooooowhere near his man all day long. Very, very naive.

Hibbert is reknowned for beiong one of the best in one on one situations in the fullback area which is exactly where the goal came from.

But hey, let's carry on with your play the kids agenda - it really works well.
