He was a lot better in the second half once the midfield turned up, he was poor in the first half, but so was everyone else.
Mirallas should start the next match just behind Jelavic, he's got less defensive responsibilities then, wit Naismith or someone else infront of him Coleman shouldn't be as exposed on the counter.

Spot on that point about Seamus getting exposed by Mirallas. He's undisciplined, something Moyes noted himself yesterday I think. I wouldn't put Naismith in front of Coleman though, I'd stick with Mirallas. We knew they'd take time to gel and swapping and changing is exactly the wrong thing to do, IMO.

Mirallas & Pienaar weren't in the game enough for me personally, Baines & Felli getting most of the ball. Wasn't at the races Maro I thought, he never seems to fancy physical sides away from home, and I thought at one point he was going to get sent off. Jela was also just getting too frustrated, but not his fault that he was struggling to get on the end of some of the balls into him, mainly from Coleman.

Wigan's game plan was to hit Kone as early as they could and get Di Santo & McCarthur into the game and it worked for their two goals (even though the first one was clearly offside). We need to be less naive against sides that rely on stuff like this when we're away from home, WBA & Leeds did the same thing essentially.

Good second half performance from us, yes ref was poor but we didn't take our chances, 11 on target so it's no surprise that we didn't win. Good substitute from Moyes putting Distin in, thought he did well when he came on and also thought Fellaini did well in the 2nd half.
So happy we didn't lose, let's not get pissed because we didn't win, we narrowly nearly lost there so let's be glad we got a point.

Gibson and Hibbert should be back in 2 weeks time, so things are looking up from my point of view.

Didn't lose, and still played some boss footy at times. Gash defending though for alot, but had we not been so poor at the back then it's likely we'd have run away with that game, and of course if all the crap decisions weren't so crap.

Expected to be frustrated during the game today and was to be fair,

No can't agree. He was all at sea defensively and didn't make good decisions on the ball either. Poor crosses again.

Theere is no way Hibbert would have let that cross come in for the first goal.

By far our worst player today.

Baines, by the way, is supreme. No one mentioning how good he is because we are that used to it from him. I wouldn't swap him for any left back, and I mean it. Love him.

Awful 1st half. We've looked awful at the back all season, Distin should come back in now as Heitenga has looked like he has for most of his time here. It just wouldn't break for us in the 2nd half. The 3 times it did Kev should've scored, we got the pen and should've had another with the Jelavic incident. WTF with the ref an all the bookings as well.

Mirallas has been showing glimpses of his class though, we just need to discipline him into a place where he can get more involved.

He is a left mid, mind!

It's no coincidence that when Baines got more involved it was our brightest period. Amazing player for us.

That shows that top 4 will be hard to get . We can't afford to play sloppy in the first half . Think we need to buy some new centre backs or give Duffy a chance because Heitinga had a bad game and we can't afford to wait unit he starts performing like last season. Fellaini had a bad game which shows that we need to get Vadis or another cm in . Kev needs to learn to pass abit more . Overall fair result has each half was bossed by both teams although we should off had 3 penalties . Heads up for next game
