Perhaps, but I don't think Heitinga's come in and done very well. In fact I think he's been the worst of our 3 CBs this season.

Heitinga always is, he needs a run of a few games before he finds his best form.

Someone has to miss out, Distin could easily be in cause of his height and pace, or he could easily miss out as needs to be eased out of the team as he doesn't have long left.

Agree with those saying Johnny H's form improves the more he plays. He's also our most cultured defender so I always like to see him in the first 11.

I have a little theory that our defence is looking shifty because of the more attacking side to our game and the fact our DM position isn't the strongest so they aren't getting quite the protection they need.

It's part of it sure, with two attacking full backs, the midfield not providing a huge amount of protection and the keeper looking shaky, it puts a lot of pressure on the CBs. But even then they're not doing the simple things well.
