Why? He kept them up and in his first full season (since returning) got them their record Prem points total.

He’s done very well very quickly though, people talk like he’s had 5 years to build a team, he hasn’t. He’s only had one full season.

We haven’t been truly organised or competitive since he left.

I think his time was up when he left and I'm never a fan of managers going back; never seems to work out well.

But I'd love to have someone like him in charge again.

For me, it's that whole "never go back" thing. No problem with Moyes, he did fine enough by us, but I also think he was part of the problem too. I know many think if he had the cash we've doled out lately, he'd do a fine job, but I'm not so sure. West Ham aside, and he's done brilliantly there, no issue, I doubt it would work here second time around. And why would he want to leave them anyway? I couldn't get on board with a lot of his stuff at the time, I don't want to try again now.

That is my main disappointment but never bring someone back….rarely works and is often a disaster

Yeah its worked out fine for Moyes, Redknapp, Capello, Mourinho and Ancelotti all returning to former clubs - no reason it wouldnt work out for Moyes returning here.
