Why does this happen?

Maybe the club should start to face reality and stop with the We Don't Care BS...

My version of the We're Forever Everton song goes like this.

1-0 up, 2-1 down
We'll Forever **** it up.

We can blame players. We can curse and moan but it won't change until we understand what causes us to collapse.

Is it being spineless?

Is it bad luck?

Why can't we do it to other teams?

But until the club deal with this there will be no changes. No big match wins - no semi or final wins against the RS since 1906. No wins at big side's grounds and maybe another twenty years without a win at The Pit.

And more last minute collapses at Leicester, Liverpool, City LC semis,

And more so called heroic failure against Villarreal, Fiorentina.. collapses at Millwall, West Ham (FA Cup)... Man U semi heartache, embarrassing Cup exit at Liverpool, Bristol Rovers, Brentford, Panathinaikos, Oldham.... And on and on.

And we deserve answers.

Mentality...

Only team capable of throwing away that game, that last minute means u can't enjoy the performance which was very good up until then.
Our team constantly lets us fans down like no other team.

I would love the fans to get a boycott going for our next home game against Palace.

Wont happen like but would love us to make a stand and let the players and club know we have had enough.

You would have thought the FA Cup Derby would have been the result that kicked the players/club up the backside but apparently not.

The mentality of the players is weak. They concede and fold time and time again, they fold under any pressure, no leadership no spine. Blaming Carlo Ancelotti is insane these Clowns have been doing it for seasons.

Mentality. It's the biggest part of sport.

Everyone in the top flight has ability, mentality is what separates the good from the great.
100% Davies weak
Delph weak
Digne weak mentally
Sig weak
Pickford weak wreckhead
Morgan weak.
Then people wonder why it keeps happening?

But we can't keep buying weak mental players. Once upon a time we bought Alan Ball and had Labby. Players who would die for the shirt. Reid, Gray, Higson.

It's the past management being too soft and letting the malaise fester.

Cahill and co didn't lie down. Nor Rooney, nor the likes of Roy Keane at United.

And so the likes - probably - of Martinez, Koeman and Silva didn't control the dressing room properly.

Maybe that's it. Weak management and lazy players.

Or as the song nearly says. Get Down to Fin.in.inch Farm

And we should stop buying players from better PL teams. (Arsenal, United, City..)

What kind of ambition is it to leave title and cup winning sides to play for us? Seems like Easy Street to me as we're not challenging for titles so they get to settle for eighth.

The players know that there are no consequences for even the most disgraceful capitulations or flagrant acts of unprofessionalism.

This squad has nothing about it. Even the better players are barely above average, and the rest are completely devoid of the heart or pride that allow some teams to become greater than the sum of their parts.
