Why can't we win the league

I want to win the league, we're in 2nd, I belive 7 pts. from our next 3 games is going to convince me that we'll be challenging. I agree that the OTT negativity is tiresome, why not get carried away when we're riding high and playing like Barcelona at times? There's no hope if you can only reply with snide remarks about RAWK whenever someone makes a hugely positive statement about our club. How about a bit of belief from our fans when we're on top form?

After 9 games in 2004 we were 3rd with 19 points. We ended up 4th and more than 30 points behind the champions Chelsea.

For a little perspective.

This current squad has got a lot more quality then what we had that year and that Chelsea team was the best side in the european game at the time under Mourinho imo. The league table says we're in a title race just now, early or not. I know it will be brilliant to even finish 4th this year, but lets not be saying we're definitely won't be doing this or that when current form since January suggests otherwise.

We definitely will not be challenging for the league title.

That statement is based on the quality of the sides we're competing against, rather than 6 games of a 38 game competition. We haven't even played any of the top sides away from home yet ffs
