Honestly, if this doesn't prove how much the entire hierarchy needs to go I give up. They just dig out the last statement and edit it, they’re making it up as they go along, that much is obvious, they don’t even know what tomorrow will bring

I can see Pereira getting his marching orders early and then a meeting with the new manager (Lampard) and the staff he's bringing plus the staff retained.

That would be my assessment.

Lampard's connections wouldn't allow him to have signed terms with Everton only to be then placed back in an interview process.
