Lampard is not a better manager than Benitez. No matter what people think of Benitez.

Neither are any of the "three candidates."

Lampard can't do defending. The difference between Lampard and Tuchel was night and day.

The difference in quality available to him between Everton and Chelsea is night and day.

It says it all about our squad that Ancelotti is a manager that does not have a system. Rather changes the system to suit the players. Then ended up looking like the Italian Sam Allardyce. He had zero trust in our defence.

However if Lampard can get Derby to the Championship final. I'm sure he can get Everton out of the Championship once we're in there.

It's not looking good.

7 months of Benitez will have made Allardyce feel like prime Mourinho.

Genuinely, 90% of the fanbase will be onside. There certainly won't be the same 05/95split like there was with Benitez.

He did well to get Chelsea into the top 4 considering he wasn’t able to sign anyone for half his time at Chelsea due to their transfer embargo. He also got them to the FA Cup final.

I was impressed by how he got Derby to the play-off final, too. They haven’t been near the top-flight for many years.

Play-off finals and Champions League football… that’s more than Pulis or Rooney have ever achieved.

regardless of the Chelsea embargo, he had a great team with quality throughout. Not o mention teams around him had a shocker of a season.

Lampards signings utterly failed Under him after the transfer embargo ended. So his record in the transfer market, and getting players to adapt to his football is pretty piss poor.

Derby reached the play offs the year before he took over as well. they also finished 6th under lampard, the same position as the year before. He had zero Improvement as derby manager, other than media hype because of who he is.

Got to the stage now there is zero excitement about a new Everton manager. Just blind hope.
As of right now the only thing i would like to see from lampard is he'll straight away not tolerate frauds like iwobi.
He was a winner on the pitch. He'll sniff out those who are taking the piss.

Not when Lampard has a pretty horrendous record as a coach. In 19/20 Chelsea conceded 54 goals in 38 games under Lampard. This season under Tuchel they have conceded 18 in 24 games.

So Chelsea are now conceding almost half as many goals under Tuchel as they did under Lampard.

Lampard's Chelsea conceded almost 1.5 goals per game, imagine what he is going to be like with our defenders. This appointment could be an absolute car crash.
