I loved Martinez, that first season was some of the best football I’d seen us play for years. His positivity was a breath of fresh air…..

But I don’t want him back, the post match interviews were more ridiculous than fat Rafael at times. Phenomenal / moment / execution etc….

Everton have a better squad than people think. An attacking coach like Martinez is ideal. If you claim to be rich you can always buy better defenders so why worry.

Martinez would be similar to Benitez in that if it starts going wrong he wont be afforded much patience by the fans due to his history.

Liked the fella but the period towards the end was woeful. Fans will remember that, so we shouldnt be going back imo.
