Quite simply, which player were you at break time in school footy matches?

I imagine most will be blues but let’s not be myopic about it, any player from any club is fine, even the odd red I suppose.

I was Neville Southall.

….when I was a tot my Dad told me Dixie was so good in the air that he took penalties with his head, it took a few years before I realised he was taking the p1ss.

On a similar theme, I once played for a team managed by Dave Hickson. In the winter we trained on floodlit, concrete tennis courts and he would dive head first for a header. He was a lovely, modest man but he was fearless and a bit nuts when he played football.
