I’m in shock that there’s a glaring omission from this list of one from the current squad.

How the hell has Jonjo Kenny’s name not been up in lights in this thread?

And what about Offside Jo!

By absolute measure of low ability badness then Brett Angell probably (not even on the list ffs). tbf there is no hiding place wearing the #9 shirt - we've had other third tier footballers hiding in defensive mid positions (e.g. Segundo Castillo just to throw another name out there) who were likely as bad as Brett.

For ability in relation to transfer fee then Niasse, Iwobi, and Bolassie.

Oumar not as bad as the other two as he was an unknown quantity who Bobby clown shoes decided to roll the dice on - rolled a double zero like, but at least there was an outside chance that he might have been a footballer.
Iwobi and Bolassie were outrageous transfers as WE KNEW THEY WERE [Poor language removed] IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE ALREADY and they cost serious money.
Re Iwobi I believe he was on a yacht in the med or somewhere when he was told about us.Got back sharpish.I laughed and said no way and they signed him for what is it 27-35M proven garbage.unbelievable.

The worst deal money wise has to be signing CF Rod Belfitt from Ipswich sending a young prolific goal scorer in a young David Johnson going to Ipswich we only got 40 grand for him - he went on to play for the other lot plus became an England international.....
Belfitt played only 11 games flopped & was sold on at a big loss......

Many years later we signed David Johnson back past his best .....

Everton That .......

Bernie the Bolt Wright a CF from Walsall was a massive mistake, but named at the time our worse signing ever - but he was comical to watch - we could not get a kit that fit him - he did score a few but his bust up with our manager was so comical it made the newspapers .....
He left intoxicated on the back of a trailer & drove by our groundsman after demanding a pay rise with our Managers hiding in a cupboard - while the bigger players chucked him on the trailer with his Xmas hamper ....

He was never seen at Goodison again as his contract was terminated.....LOL
Harrys deadly duo ?

I would go for Iwobi on the basis of being the worst value for money player ever bought by the club . Looked more animated in his pre-season Everton clothes catalogue work than on the pitch.

Martina wasn't thaat bad especially considering he was on a free and played out of position, he actually looked assed.
Iwobi plays like he's stood outside the kebab shop waiting for a scran at 2am in the cold.
