Tim Howard. Solved the continual goalkeeping crisis that we'd suffered since Big Nev. Martyn was a better keeper, but only good for a season or so.

Cahill was my favourite player for a long time, so I guess it must have been Timmy. Arteta was a good buy, but has not had the same impact on the side as Cahill did. Howard has done well to be fair to the lad. Lescott was another great signing, and made us a few quid too. Jags and Baines have also been super signings, as was Yakubu, and indeed Saha. Loving Fellaini too. Infact, he's made a few clangers has Moyes, but he has signed a great set of lads over the years, which is why we are better now than we were before he took over.

For me I think it would have to be Lescott because he was a quality defender for 3 years and was sold for a £19M profit. He also got a lot of goals for us.

Am sure you've forgotten who Arteta, Pienaar, Cahill and Jagielka. Even Howard was a great signing, as was Lescott. In a few years time we'll be looking back at the amount we paid for Coleman as one of the best ever steals.
