A new survey has found that Liverpool are everybody's favourite second team, with football fans saying the Anfield club are the least offensive side to follow in England (Metro)

Who the hell are they kidding?? Bet they didn't ask many people on Mersyside.

With that in mind, mine is Cambridge Utd

Every non-Liverpool fan I know can't stand them, so I find this hard to accept. In the English league, probably Crystal Palace as of last year, to answer your question.

No one has that shower as their second team, anyways, there are no second teams.

Loads really, since I don't really follow anyone but Everton...so these are all just one's I'd rather see win when I check the scores.

The main ones are:

Macc Town because I was born/raised there.

Man City because of my granddad (on the non-Liverpudlian, Everton side). He used to cycle from Warrington in the 30's to watch them play at Maine Road.

Leeds United because I've spent a good part of my life there, so via friends.

Sheffield Wednesday because of a good mate.

AFC Wimbledon just cos it's a good story, and that game. That game.

Oh and abroad: LOSC Lille and Montpellier because I've lived in both cities.

I don't really get how you can have a second team. Supporting Everton takes up too much of my life as it is. I don't need anybody to fall back on, it's just Everton.
