Which position gets injured most?

For you stats guys.
Are there any trends in which position on the field that has more injuries than others?
Anyhing special during Moyes time here or in the teams Martinez has been managing?
Or is completely random?

We seem always to have a center mid with a long term injury in recent years. Gibson, Rodwell, Fellaini, Arteta. Suppose they're on the ball more often than anyone else on the pitch.

Radzinski, Beattie, Vaughan, Anichebe, Yakubu, Kone - all strikers off the top of my head who were out for lengthy periods at a time when we were short on numbers anyway?

I seem to remember Andy Johnson even missing the last 2/3 months of a season going off injured at a defeat to fulham. I might be wrong on how long he was out for though

I'd guess midfielders because of the number of challenges they have to give and take. Injuries to strikers are usually things like hamstring strains.
