Which managers have progressed us?

In my time watching, only Moyes with absolute certainty.

I couldn't say Dyche "progressed" the club, just saved it from oblivion and left behind well drilled side, but certainly improved on how bad we were under Lampard.

Even with Ancelotti, we spent money on aging players, which contributed to our PSR problems further down the line.

Defo not Allardyce though. The squad he inherited, though imblalanced, was pretty much still the 7th best in the league and he finished 8th behind Dyche's Burnley. We should have just let Unsworth see out that season.

Grumblings have begun and Everton’s predicament when Moyes returned – one point above the relegation zone and in a fourth successive battle for top-flight survival – have seemingly been forgotten by some...Everton have made their first strides under Moyes, despite what the current mood might suggest, but improvements behind the scenes will take longer to come to fruition.
