Scottish football is indeed not a pretty sight these days. When I think of the sixties, jumpers for goalposts and getting in for pennies to watch world class players like Jimmy Johnstone or Jim Baxter. Now you're lucky if you recognise any of the top players and they don't stick around for long.

But the market is in control and the SPL can't keep up.
