After a horror few years where is have had the squad gutted and facing relegation battles and a crackpot owner who nearly sold the club to a Ponzi scheme we finally have some hope going forward

But with where we been are we really expecting a European place and a big cup run ?

I would have thought the target this season is mid table and keep building rather than expecting instant success

We have improved from last season to mid table that’s all we are and with more transfers we should be improving more

How was supposed to happen over night ?

Sunderland seemed to manage better than we did during the summer, they binned off most of the players that got them promoted.
They assembled a squad that played us off the park today.
