Where are where we should be

I expect us to steadily be going forwards under the new ownership. If anything, we are steadily going backwards the more the season goes on.

We had a great end to last season with Moyes and a relatively good start to this season with him but things have gone stale (partially due to squad issues) and we are going down rather than up.

After a horror few years where is have had the squad gutted and facing relegation battles and a crackpot owner who nearly sold the club to a Ponzi scheme we finally have some hope going forward

But with where we been are we really expecting a European place and a big cup run ?

I would have thought the target this season is mid table and keep building rather than expecting instant success

We should be something like 16th/17th and may well end up there on current form.

We’ve had a number of tight wins this season, particularly away from home which flatters our position.

Our squad is absolutely rank and we’ve got a £100m problem in Dibling, Beto and Barry - all 3 are massively under performing and realistically will realise a big loss if / when we sell them.

“Stop cry arsing”
“Just get behind the team”
“It’s fine.”
“ that will do, it’s good, stop moaning”
“Entitled”

(Get a few decent results)

“Ha ha usual lot quiet “
“ Cry arses be gone”
“Love this club”

Season after season.

How was supposed to happen over night ?
Nobody has mentioned anything happening overnight.

Are you saying it is unrealistic for an Everton supporter to expect to have a squad good enough to beat Sunderland, who won last seasons championship play off final 7 months ago, at home in a 3rd round fa cup game?

Some of the recruitment has been woeful I agree but compared to last season we would be where WHU are without it

Some purchases are awful

As an older fan, I know rebuilds aren’t done in one window. Age grants patience (usually). But we’ve been saying the next few transfer windows will solve it for over 30 years. Gets really old.

Best players are all out, suspended, injured, international duty.
