I have started buying the posh papers since retiring and came across this peice of inciteful journalism.
Researchers have found that men only invest in new underwear every 5 years. The study also that some men even hang on to their pants for over 20 years.
Nick Clinch( no pun intended ) of Clinch the men's wear brand says men do not hesitate to buying expensive suits but cut corners with underwear .
" Its like buying a Ferrari and filling it up with cooking oil"
So back to my original question when did you last buy some Bill Grundys ?

I've still got some socks I bought in 1978. I bought them from the golf shop where I was a member. Haven't worn them for years but keep coming across them in my sock draw.

What a godawful analogy. Underpants are there to keep the faecal traces, sweat and urine dribbles off the expensive suit.

I last bought some 3 years ago. I do have some that are into their second decade of gracing my genitals though. Only when they become more hole than pant are they laid to rest.
