Not having Vincent Tan involved in any way.
I'd like to see an Evertonian on the board in some capacity, to (albeit unofficially) speak for all of us in that scary world of board room meetings.
I sort of meant a wealthy one who would take a proper place on the board, rather than just, say, me.Would be nice to have a supporter on the board as a matter of principle, but I'm not sure how you elect one and it might carry undue liability.
Really hard to narrow it down to a couple of those points. Basically I want masses of money spent on players, like astronomical sums if possible, because I want trophies. Also not keen on leaving Goodison and would prefer redevelopment to around the 47-50k mark.
I suppose the key to all my hopes is a board who simply acknowledge everton should be winning trophies and that we are a massive club. No board will ever remove what Everton is all about as a club, the values will always remain as they are bigger than individuals. But we need people who share the fans' ambition.
This! Commercial savvy and good marketing!Marketing marketing marketing. As much as I do enjoy feeling like being part of a secret society when I walk around in my kit, it would be nice for the prospective owners to seize on the fact that EFC is already thought of in some ways as "America's team" and aggressively market to win over new supporters here in the States. Selfish I know.

To prevent some sort of Vincent Tan "let's play in red" situation.A good idea but they'd still be acting on personal agenda.
Look on here, some fans love Martinez, some fans want him gone. I think a fan in the boardroom would only be able to speak for all of us if the situation wasn't very specific.
