Has a striker ever performed well under Moyes? At any club
His best season by far was under Koeman.our best striker in recent times was lukaku under Martinez
who was also as wobbly organizing a defense like Marco silva.
Lautaro Martinez; show some seriousness FFS.
The fact that neither Beto or Barry are getting chances and DCL is in a worse team is a plus point for DCL. He is a much much better all round player than either Beto or Barry regardless of how many 1 v 1s he misses. It's possible for a centre forward to still do a good job for the team even if he isn't a prolific scorer. Beto and Barry just aren't offering anything. The ball just bounces off them, them don't relieve pressure, they don't stretch the game. They just don't contribute anything.Beto has scored two goals this season, but I`d say DCL is well ahead on good chances missed, despite him only starting twice so far.
It would go a long long way.A striker doesn’t fix everything. There are problems beyond that.
Was thinking the same thing.Has a striker ever performed well under Moyes? At any club
He would have been a better shout than Barry on his current showing.Difficult to say. I'd say another guy from abroad but Barry scored double figures for Villareal so he's hardly some dud, just settling in and struggling to adapt so far. Can barely remember him touching the ball last night and he had 25 minutes on the pitch so that is worrying.
Evan Ferguson name been floated in last year. He's starting regularly for Roma in Serie A so if he can score double figures there I'd like to be in the mix for him end of the season as Brighton will surely sell. Hard to believe he's still only 20.
