However even under Blue Bill strikers cost a fortune and we never had the money to get real quality!

Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Leeds. Their club, though recently promoted, beat us and sit higher than us in the table. He also scored as many goals as Beto so far this season.

Well isn’t the whole point to try and get someone better than that? Also we are 3 places above them in the table.

Realistically who would you sign? IMO it needs to be a proven striker from the prem or even in one on the championship. There's seems to be a lack of them about these days or they're over priced but surely there's 1 or 2 we could try and get?

The issue isnt just the strikers, the set up is wrong.

Grealish and Ndiaye are 10 yards behind the halfway line so much that the striker is disconnected.

Keane has been the best centre half by a mile so far this season, but we need Branthwaite as he pushes us up 10 yards further up the pitch. We're so deep, invite too much pressure.

Moyes has got it wrong the last 3/4 games but ffs no point in Grealish or Ndiaye receiving the ball in their own half and winning free kicks on the half way line.

For sure, mate. I meant it all as a joke. I was making the point that we got rid of Dom to Leeds. We brought in Barry. And Beto won out over Dom for the starting spot. Leeds was promoted and beat us. And despite our summer signings we’re both sitting on 8 points barely separated by GD.

We have a striker problem here and have for a really long time. We also have poor tactics when it comes to best helping our strikers given our limitations in other areas. In at least this way, Moyes plays just like Dyche by isolating his striker and hoping for some random pinball bounce that goes our way. Or we have to play the absolutely perfect ball to them in the only way they can accept the feed. Otherwise they lose the ball or worse.
