What position gets Europe?

Whoever wins the League Cup is supposed to qualify for the Conference League. However, if that cup is won by a team that already qualified for CL or EL, the place then goes to the league position.

An extra CL place is now given the country with highest UEFA ranking, which is almost certainly going to be the Premier League. So 1st-5th gets CL, 6th and 7th will get Europa, 8th will get Conference.

If us and Roma qualified the for same comp it would cause issues but that scenario isn't likely this year at least.

For Europe you have to be able to rotate or you're doomed in both league and the tourney. Europa is almost worth missing out at times because it can kill your league footy. I do not think we are prepared for it as currently built. At the very least Moyes hasn't proven he can rotate and get a performance.

5 Champions league(due to England surely getting the extra spot due to performance), 2 Europa, 1 Conference league.
