I won't give abuse , personally. He has never claimed to be a Evertonian, and he did a good job while he was here. While I never warmed to him , he was a pleasure to watch ( goal scoring wise) He gave us four seasons at the end of the day, which is a damn sight more than a certain much vaunted 'bloo' did.

He kept us away from relegation trouble for two seasons. He's been our best striker since Rooney. He's never lied about his ambition and he could have tried to force a move away last season but didn't. He'll get applause from me.

I'll give him a clap in recognition for the good service he has done. If he'd left and kept his mouth shut I'd be more inclined to give him a warmer welcome. He's been great for us but could have left a bit more gracefully. I don't think he's been as bad as some have made out though.

Meh, it's a turn of phrase. There were times during his tenure that he irritated me, but generally I enjoyed his time here. If you want to hate him go head fill yer boots, I've got nothing against a bit of sputum specked bile at the game. Just in this case I don't feel it.

I Dont hate the guy. Had many arguments with family and friends saying he is the best striker ive ever seen us have. He could have just gone about getting his move in a more respectfull manner.

Depends how he handles the PR after he's officially gone. If he says nice stuff about us, cool. He can have a nice clap and whatnot.
